  7. The unit can be calibrated by using 
  8. the calibration surfaced supplied 
  9. by the manufacturer.  It consists of 
  10. a convex test surface which is an integral part of a holder.  It fits in 
  11. and is held against the instrument 
  12. cone.  A photo of the unit is taken 
  13. and analyzed just as for the cornea.
